Alessandra Zingales, Counsel in the Muscat office, advises on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, as well as local Omani law matters, and represents numerous international public and private companies doing business in Oman, with a particular focus on Italian companies in the construction and infrastructure sector.
She has extensive experience in advising international companies tendering for public projects in Oman and she assisted a number of companies and consortia in relation to various aspects of the Oman Railway project, both during the pre-qualification and tendering stage and after the award of the relevant contracts. She also advises regularly on local Labour Law matters and real estate related matters including usufructs, legal mortgages, residential and commercial tenancies and mining concessions.
Ms. Zingales contributes on a regular basis to multi-national guides and textbooks on various legal issues, including the World Bank “Doing Business” Guide (Oman).
She has been working in Oman since 2008 and, before joining Curtis, she worked in two leading local law firms.
