Mr. Al-Amri is counsel in the firm’s litigation group. An experienced Omani advocate, he is also counsel in Curtis’ associated local Omani firm, Mehdi Al Lawati Law Office (“MALO”), through which the firm provides local and international clients with advocacy services in the local courts.
Mr Al-Amri is an experienced advocate before the Primary and Appeal Courts in the Sultanate. He has extensive drafting experience, having prepared pleadings on a wide variety of matters for filing in Oman courts. He has successfully represented clients in enforcement proceedings, winning execution judgments in favor of clients.
His broad litigation experience includes corporate and commercial matters, reviewing and drafting all types of agreements and contracts, including disputes clauses, and criminal cases. He also has experience in international arbitration.
He has provided ad hoc legal opinions on a wide range of issues, from labor law to banking transactions. His industry experience includes construction, food and beverage and hotels and leisure.
