Two Curtis Restructuring Deals Win M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards
Two Curtis restructuring deals have been announced as winners of M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards:
The Restructuring of Fairway Group Holdings won the Consumer Staples Deal of the Year Award (over $100MM). Curtis served as conflicts counsel to Fairway Group Holdings in connection with their Chapter 11 cases in the Southern District of New York. The Curtis team was led by partner Steven J. Reisman and included restructuring partner Cindi M. Giglio, as well as litigation partner Turner P. Smith and counsel Gabriel Hertzberg.
The Restructuring of Aspect Software was selected as the Information Technology Deal of the Year award (over $250MM). Curtis served as counsel to Golden Gate Capital and Angel Island Investments, two creditors involved in the restructuring. Steven J. Reisman led the Curtis team, which also included restructuring partner Cindi M. Giglio and corporate partner Evan S. Borenstein.
