Miriam Harwood Speaks at Columbia Law School Arbitration Conference

New York-based partner Miriam Harwood was a featured speaker at Columbia University Law School, at a conference entitled “Developments in International Investment Agreements,” held in New York on February 27, 2017. The conference was organized by the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment (“CCSI”) in conjunction with the Office of the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia. Ms. Harwood spoke on a panel with the Consul General of Indonesia, Abdul Kadir Jailani, and Lise Johnson, Head of Investment Law and Policy of CCSI, on topics relating to the balancing of investor protections with governmental regulatory authority and public interest, and current trends in new generation trade and investment agreements such as CETA and the TTIP.
