What is international trade law?

International trade law concerns itself with the customs and rules that govern economic trade between countries. It’s a broad subject, covering both the application of domestic law and international, treaty-based law to international trade. International trade law overlaps with international investment law and other areas where economics and legal systems interact in an international context.
