Curtis Frankfurt has successfully represented Joshiko Saibou, a professional German Basketball player, in a labor dispute before the Labor Court of Bonn, Germany, with his employer Telekom Baskets Bonn, a professional Basketball franchise participating in the German Basketball Bundesliga.
In early August this year, Telekom Baskets Bonn terminated Saibou’s player contract without notice based on allegations that Saibou breached his contract by not adhering to protective measures when participating in a Berlin protest against the German government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
After two hearings the dispute was settled in court.
