Curtis advised the shareholders of BARC GmbH, a leading German consulting and research company in the field of business software applications with business activities in German speaking countries and the United Kingdom, on the sale of all of their shares to its French partner le CXP S.A.
The new group provides dedicated studies and analyses of software offers to companies looking into software projects to clients world wide. It combines this activity with the sale of consultancy services and assistance in choosing and implementing business software. Investors of le CXP S.A. are in particular the French private equity funds NextStage and SIPAREX. The investment is part of a buy-and-build strategy.
The Curtis team was led by Markus Soehnchen and Christian Fingerhut, partners in the Frankfurt office.
