Curtis Italy assisted CDP Venture Capital, the Italian sovereign entity dedicated to the venture capital market, in the implementation of a strategic partnership with Fondazione Cariverona, Unicredit and Eatable Adventures for the set-up of a vertical acceleration program named FoodSeed reserved to start-ups specializing in the FoodTech and AgriTech sectors.
FoodSeed will be part of the CDP National Accelerator Network, a network present throughout the territory to promote and support the growth of new companies specialized in high-potential markets.
Throughout the initial 3 year term of the program up to 30 startups will be admitted to the acceleration services and will receive pre-seed and seed investments from the main sponsors of the program. Curtis Italy drafted and negotiated the overall contractual framework of the program among the partners and will assist in the subsequent investment phases involving the selected startups.
The Curtis team was coordinated by Carmine Gravina and includes Teresa Prudente and Attilio Valguarnera.
