Curtis Environmental Chair Charles Howland to Speak at Green Climate And Legal Issues Of Ensuring Food Quality And Safety International Conference

On June 8, Partner and Environmental Chair Charles Howland will speak on Prospects for Hydrogen (Green and Blue) in Central Asia: The Food/Energy Nexus, as part of an international conference entitled Green Climate And Legal Issues Of Ensuring Food Quality And Safety Conference. Mr. Howland’s panel will focus on helping address food and energy issues in Uzbekistan. The conference is sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDPP), the Tashkent State University of Law, and the Tashkent State Technical University, with funding from the European Union. Other speakers will include senior members of the Uzbekistan government (legislative and executive), and university professors from Uzbekistan and other countries’ universities, and NGOs focused on financing infrastructure to address climate change.
