Curtis Environmental Chair Charles Howland to Speak on Upcoming Strafford Webinar

On June 5, 2023, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued the U.S. National Clean Hydrogen Strategy and Roadmap, which sets out a comprehensive strategy to advance the production, processing, delivery, storage, and use of clean hydrogen, building off of the initiatives contained in the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.

Curtis partner Charles Howland will be speaking on the webinar, "U.S. National Clean Hydrogen Strategy: Recent Developments, New Section 45V, Clean Hydrogen Hubs, DOE Funding," on Tuesday, November 21, 1:00pm-2:30pm EST.

This program will provide attorneys, developers, producers, and investors guidance on recent funding and regulatory developments with hydrogen, and potential challenges. The panel will discuss strategies and implementation under the Strategy; the recently announced regional clean hydrogen hubs; new Section 45V and other tax credits; related U.S. Department of Energy funding support; public-private partnership opportunities; current challenges for clean hydrogen projects; and key considerations for clean hydrogen project development.
