Curtis Italy advises Fabrica Immobiliare SGR on strategic €23.5 million acquisition in the retail sector
Curtis Italy advised Fabrica Immobiliare SGR on the €23.5 million acquisition by one of its real estate funds, the Cartesio Fund, of a real estate portfolio comprising five PAM–Panorama brand supermarkets across central and northern Italy.
Curtis team was led by Rome based counsel Carmine Gravina, with the support of associate Francesco Fortuna and trainee Marta Falcone, and included (for administrative law issues) counsel Francesco Caccioppoli and associate Giuseppe Calamo.
Fabrica Immobiliare SGR is one of Italian largest real estate asset management companies that manages 12 real estate funds and Euro 3.2 billion in assets, mainly on behalf of institutional investors and Italian pension funds.
The seller of the portfolio was Unicredito Immobiliare Uno Fund, an Italian listed real estate fund managed by Torre SGR.
The acquisition of the portfolio in key centres including Perugia, Trieste, Pordenone and Verona closed on June 27, 2017.
