Curtis Promotes New Partners in its New York and Washington, D.C. Offices

Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP has announced the promotion of new lawyers to partner: Michael S. Schwartz in its New York office, and Justin M. Jacinto and Borzu Sabahi in its Washington, D.C. office.

  • Mr. Jacinto is a widely experienced international arbitration lawyer. He joined Curtis in 2011 and has worked in the firm’s Washington and London offices. Mr. Jacinto received his J.D. from Georgetown Law School in 2007 and holds a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge, England. He is admitted to both the New York State and the District of Columbia Bars.
  • Mr. Sabahi is an international arbitration lawyer who has served as counsel and expert in arbitration cases brought under a number of bilateral investment treaties. He has published extensively and his writings have been cited by international tribunals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Dr. Sabahi joined the firm in 2011. He received his LL.M. and J.S.D. from Georgetown University and his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Tehran. He is admitted to both the New York State and the District of Columbia Bars.
  • Mr. Schwartz is an experienced private client and trusts and estates lawyer. His practice encompasses domestic and multijurisdictional estate and succession planning for high-net-worth individuals, including estate and trust administration, as well as contested fiduciary matters. Mr. Schwartz joined the firm in 2012. He received his J.D. from New York University.
