Mr. Hansen brings deep knowledge and experience in the natural resources and wider energy sector, notably in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) of the former Soviet Union, where he has practiced for almost 20 years. Qualified in England and Wales, Mr. Hansen enhances the firm’s offering to clients both in the region and outside. He is fluent in English, French and Russian.

Mr. Hansen focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital. He has strong sectoral experience in natural resources and energy as well as technology, life sciences and real estate, and has advised states and sovereign owned and commercial clients.

Mr. Hansen has previously been recognised in Legal 500, Chambers, Best Lawyers and Pravo.ru as a leading practitioner for many years.
