Eduardo Cukier co-chaired a panel titled 'Making the Most of Tax Attributes in the Current Economic Environment' at the 4th Annual U.S. - Latin American Tax Planning Strategies Conference held June 15-17 in Miami, FL by the American Bar Association. His panel included speakers from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Spain, United States and Venezuela The panel focused on two case studies and analyzed the (a) use of existing tax attributes when a Multinational does business in Latin America and (b) creation of new tax attributes in the acquisition of foreign subsidiaries.
