Five Curtis Attorneys Featured at ASIL 2021 Annual Meeting

Five Curtis attorneys will participate in the 2021 Annual Meeting of the American Society of International Law (ASIL), which will take place from March 24-26.

Partner Simon Batifort co-chairs this year’s Annual Meeting and has played a key role in planning all aspects of the conference. Curtis attorneys will also be featured on four panels:

  • Chairman George Kahale will speak on “Realigning Investment Treaties with States’ Interests” on Friday, March 26 from 1:45pm – 2:45pm (EST)
  • Partner Justin Jacinto will speak on “Litigating Health and Security Exceptions in Investment Treaties – A Simulation” on Thursday, March 25 from 11:15am – 12:15pm (EST)
  • Senior International Consultant Tullio Treves will speak on a panel entitled “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back? Judicializing Trade and Investment Dispute Settlement” on Thursday, March 25 from 11:15am – 12:15 pm (EST)
  • Associate Andrew Larkin will speak on “Private Practice Job-Seeking during a Global Pandemic” on Thursday, March 25 from 3:30pm – 4:20pm (EST). He is also a member of the 2021 Annual Meeting Committee.
