Justin Jacinto and Belén Ibañez to Serve on the American Society of International Law's 2023 Annual Meeting Committee

Justin Jacinto, partner in Washington, D.C., has been selected to serve as a member of the committee responsible for planning the 117thAnnual Meeting of the American Society of International Law (ASIL), which will take place on March 29-31, 2023 in Washington, D.C. As a member of the Annual Meeting Committee, Mr. Jacinto will participate in planning the sessions for the Meeting, including reviewing proposals for session topics, shaping their content, and identifying speakers and moderators. Belén Ibañez, associate in London, has been selected to serve as an aide to the Committee.

The 2023 Annual Meeting will follow the theme of “The Reach and Limits of International Law to Solve Today’s Challenges,” and will bring together policy makers, practitioners, academics, and students to reflect on the role of international law in the world today, and the ways in which it interacts, effects change, and succeeds or fails as a tool to address global problems.
