Minds Matter New York

Curtis represented Minds Matter New York, a New York not-for-profit corporation, in negotiations of its new affiliation agreement with other local Minds Matter chapters and Minds Matter National (the New York-based national Minds Matter organization). We also assisted in drafting amendments to the Minds Matter National bylaws.

Minds Matter runs tutoring and mentoring programs in 14 cities across the U.S. to help high school students from low-income families achieve college readiness and success. Minds Matter students spend 4-6 hours per week during the school year in sessions with volunteer mentors and instructors over a three-year period starting with the students' high school sophomore year.
