Partner Juan Perla Featured by The Appellate Project for Hispanic Heritage Month

The Appellate Project (TAP) selected Curtis Partner Juan Perla to be featured for Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month as part of its ongoing series, “Heritage Month Profiles: Celebrating Trailblazers in the Appellate Bar.”

Throughout the year, TAP celebrates various cultural heritage months by highlighting the personal and professional journeys of distinguished members of the appellate bar, many of whom are also members of the TAP community.

Juan is an active TAP mentor and Development Committee member. Offering inspiring advice to future appellate attorneys, Juan said, “It’s too easy sometimes to focus on all the barriers to success, and whether they are fair or not. The reality is that we all start from different points, and we all face different challenges along the way. Don’t measure your success by how far others have gotten, but rather by how far you get in light of where you started.”
