Partner Nancy Delaney Featured in Law360's Female Powerbrokers Series

Curtis Litigation partner Nancy Delaney was selected as a Female Powerbroker by Law360.

Ms. Delaney, in her profile, discusses the challenges faced by female lawyers and offers advice on overcoming those challenges. She counsels aspiring female attorneys to “put gender aside and be an excellent lawyer. Even if you have a small role to play, master it.”

A former nurse, Ms. Delaney credits that experience with her ability to navigate the pressures and stresses of cases. “My experience as a nurse really helped me as a lawyer when it came to dealing with people. I've seen what a real crisis looks like. It's not a typo. Sometimes lawyers could use a little perspective.”

Ms. Delaney became the first female partner in the Litigation group at Curtis and is now active in mentoring female attorneys at the firm. She is a founder of the Women's Leadership Initiative at Curtis to foster communication and collaboration among the female lawyers across the firm's practice groups.
