Partner Simon Batifort Elected to the Executive Council of the American Society of International Law

Partner Simon Batifort has been elected to serve on the Executive Council of the American Society of International Law (ASIL) for a three-year term, commencing March 2021. In this role, he will play an active role in ASIL’s governance and development.

Mr. Batifort served as co-chair of ASIL’s 2021 Annual Meeting, which took place on March 24-26 2021, and is currently serving a three-year term as co-chair of the Dispute Resolution Interest Group.

ASIL is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational membership organization founded in 1906 and chartered by Congress in 1950. ASIL holds Special Consultative Status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a constituent society of the American Council of Learned Societies.
