Counsel Alice Venturini is a lawyer admitted to both the Paris and Milan Bars. Her practice focuses on international and domestic litigation, in particular arbitrations, assistance in corporate transactions and taxation issues.
Ms. Venturini has represented states and state-owned entities, as well as commercial entities, in arbitration proceedings under the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Chamber of Arbitration of Milan (CAM) Rules. These investor-state and commercial arbitrations concerned, among others, issues of taxation, construction contracts, agency agreements, public tenders and treaty succession.
She has also acted before Italian courts, notably in litigations involving French companies.
Her sector experience includes oil and gas and other extractives, aerospace and defence, investment portfolios, food and beverage distribution, telecommunications and media.
Ms. Venturini has assisted both Italian and foreign companies in corporate transactions in Italy as well as in North Africa, focusing in particular on acquisitions of majority or minority shareholdings and on the creation of joint venture companies.
She has also advised Italian and foreign clients in taxation matters, in particular issues of cross-border and Italian taxation.
