Edoardo Zucchelli is a partner in the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration groups, which he joined in 2012. Focusing primarily on international dispute, he also advises clients on sanctions as well as on the structuring, negotiating, and drafting of cross-border business transactions.
Mr. Zucchelli has worked for more than a decade in close connection with the management and senior staff members of major national institutions, energy companies, and state legal authorities in Europe and the Middle East / North Africa.
He has extensive experience in representing sovereign states and state-owned entities in complex, high-profile cases and he is the lead counsel in numerous litigations that Curtis Italy is handling.
He frequently advises clients in relation to disputes arising out of the management of their investments in Italy and abroad, and has a particular specialism in cases involving international sanctions put in place by the United Nations and the European Union.
This breadth of international experience in economic sanctions and international trade law, is based upon Mr. Zucchelli’s core experience in contracts: he regularly advises clients on the structuring, negotiating and drafting of cross-border business transactions.
Prior to joining Curtis, Mr. Zucchelli worked in a boutique American law firm based in New York City and in 2011 he received an LL.M from Columbia University School of Law.
