Ms. Galali has advised and represented sovereign states and state entities and has experience with cases at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), as well as the English courts including the Commercial Court and the Court of Appeal. Ms. Galali also has experience assisting with matters in the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) on commercial matters and has worked on matters for a range of clients such as corporates, governments and State-owned entities. Ms. Galali also provides advice on the UK financial and trade sanctions regime on Russia and other African and Middle Eastern countries.
Prior to joining Curtis, Ms. Galali gained invaluable experience working within a leading provider of commercial legal finance and asset recovery firm with a focus on white collar crime and the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards in multiple jurisdictions.
