Mr. Grigoryan's practice focuses on international commercial and public law. He has worked on high-profile investor-state and international commercial arbitrations conducted, in particular, under the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) rules. His arbitration activity involves international disputes in different areas, with a particular focus on oil and gas disputes. His experience includes representing sovereign states and state-owned entities.
Prior to joining Curtis, Mr. Grigoryan worked as a trainee-associate in a law firm in Moscow where he took part in domestic arbitrations and proceedings for the enforcement of arbitral awards and foreign court decisions, assisted clients in international litigations, real estate transactions and construction projects. He also has experience advising clients on contracts, corporate and tax issues, banking and financing projects. In addition, he assisted in the analysis of the WTO regulations, including the WTO dispute resolution mechanism.
