Nurlan Mukhitdinov is a Partner in the Corporate and International Arbitration groups. His practice focuses on corporate law and international law, with emphasis on the oil and gas sector.

Mr. Mukhitdinov has worked on several major oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan. He has represented the national oil and gas company of Kazakhstan in the renegotiations of production sharing agreements relating to various oil and gas fields in the Republic of Kazakhstan. He also advised the national oil company of Kazakhstan in its restructuring of the corporate entities engaged in the gas industry.

Mr. Mukhitdinov has been involved in several investor-state arbitrations under the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mukhitdinov taught subsoil, land and ecological law at the Kazakh State University.
