Sena Tsikata is an associate in the International Arbitration and Corporate groups with a practice that focuses on dispute resolution, particularly investor-state arbitration, international commercial arbitration and litigation.

Investor-State Arbitration and Litigation

Ms. Tsikata focuses her practice on investor-state disputes, and has experience with cases at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), the English High Courts and the UK Court of Appeal across a variety of fields, including natural resources and banking. She has worked on matters for governments and state-owned entities on topics such as enforcement of arbitral awards, treaty interpretation and state immunity. Ms. Tsikata also has experience assisting with matters in the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) on commercial matters.

Corporate

Ms. Tsikata has previously worked on transactions at all stages of oil and gas exploitation, including the negotiation and drafting of exploration, development and production agreements, as well as advising on oil and gas legislation and regulations. She has particular experience in representing sovereign states and state-owned entities on oil and gas and natural resources matters.
