Sylvi Sareva is an associate in the Litigation group. She concentrates her practice on commercial litigation and arbitration, and represents international clients, including foreign states and state-owned enterprises, in a wide range of disputes in federal and state courts and before a number of arbitral tribunals.

Ms. Sareva has experience at both the trial and appellate level litigating a variety of complex commercial matters arising from asset purchase agreements, environmental litigation, and toxic tort claims. Ms. Sareva has also developed substantial expertise in the confirmation of foreign arbitral awards under the Panama and New York Conventions, and in issues arising under the U.S. Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA).

While in law school, Ms. Sareva interned for UNESCO's Office of International Standards and Legal Affairs in Paris, France.

Pro Bono

Ms. Sareva represents indigent clients in contested immigration matters.
