Yelena Stasyk is an associate in the International Arbitration group, focusing on international commercial and public law, contracts and finance for energy and infrastructure projects.

International Arbitration

Ms. Stasyk has worked on international investment arbitrations, including International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) cases, across a variety of sectors, notably the pharmaceutical and oil and gas industries. Her experience includes representing both states and government-owned entities.

Previous Experience

Admitted to practice law in France and Ukraine, Ms. Stasyk was formerly an associate at a large international firm in Paris and in Kiev, Ukraine, where she assisted major financial organizations and banks with different aspects of international project finance transactions. She also regularly advised public and private partners on contracts and financing for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, as well as on public private partnerships (PPP) and concessions, and assisted with analyzing legislation and preparing recommendations for improving PPP legislation in Ukraine.
