Before joining Curtis, Mr. Munro was a partner at a large U.S.-based law firm, where he worked with corporate counsel and human resource managers to facilitate the relocation of expatriate staff across borders. He also served as counsel to an American multinational conglomerate for many years, handling tax and corporate issues arising from the company’s extensive foreign network, as well as advising its Office for Expatriate Administration on legal and policy issues related to immigration and tax. Mr. Munro also advised a global pharmaceutical company as in-house international tax counsel, where he was responsible for the company’s extensive network of affiliates and its foreign tax exposures worldwide.
