Nicolas Bichot is a highly respected French corporate lawyer with a significant breadth of experience in corporate, transactional and regulatory work. He has a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

Mr. Bichot advises French and international entrepreneurs, corporate and institutional clients on the full range of transactional matters, from the negotiation of acquisitions, LBO’s, strategic partnerships and joint ventures, to reorganizations, by way of mergers, spin-offs or other forms of transfer of assets, including in the context of restructuring. He has considerable experience with corporate and securities as well as stock exchange regulation in France.

Mr. Bichot is recognized for the breadth of his corporate law expertise by Legal 500 France 2020.

Before joining Curtis in 2021 and founding Bichot & Associés in 2011, Mr. Bichot spent over a decade with a “magic circle” international law firm, where he headed the firm’s corporate/mergers and acquisition practice in Paris. Prior to that he practiced for ten years with a market leading French firm, where he was a partner and during which time he spent two years in New York.
