Her practice focuses on representing States and State-owned entities in international investment treaty arbitrations and public international law disputes. She also has notable experience in international commercial arbitrations, where she acts for large private companies.

Ms. Manfrè ’s representative matters include several high-profile international arbitrations conducted under the auspices of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), among others. Those matters have oftentimes entailed the application of substantive laws of various civil and common law jurisdictions, and spanned across a variety of sectors, including energy (oil & gas, power projects), mining, and infrastructure.

Ms. Manfrè also advises clients on investment treaties, settlement negotiations and both English and Italian litigation matters.
