Daniil Vlasenko is a Senior Associate in the International Arbitration group. His practice concentrates on international commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration, as well as on international sports disputes. Having practiced in Russia, the U.S., Switzerland, Singapore and the UAE, Mr. Vlasenko has significant experience in both civil and common law jurisdictions.

Mr. Vlasenko has advised and represented clients in a number of international arbitrations under a variety of arbitration rules (including the ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, SCC, ICAC and CAS/TAS Rules) and complex cross-border litigations in multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Curtis, Mr. Vlasenko was a Senior Associate for a major Swiss law firm where he played a substantial role in the international arbitration group. With a wide-ranging practice, he has advised and represented states in large investment treaty arbitrations, while also having represented athletes and national sports federations before disciplinary panels and the CAS/TAS.

Mr. Vlasenko was recognized by the Russian Arbitration Association - Below 25 Chapter, as a top 5 young arbitration practitioner in Russia (2019) and by Legal 500 for Sports Law in Switzerland (2023).
